Faro Custom Foam Case

As the world’s most trusted source for 3D measurement, imaging, and realization technology FARO needed to find a way to safely transport its latest design, the Vantage 6Probe Laser Tracker. Since this product was brand new to the market, they needed to develop a custom foam case that would safely transport their product, and also provide the end-user with directions on how to assemble and operate the machine. 

The engineers at API were able to design a specialized hardshell case that on the outside proudly displayed the company logo, while their interior utilized custom foam inserts to keep their instruments safe and secure during transport. The custom solution also featured descriptive placards on the interior of the lid so that the contents and application of the equipment could be easily identified.
